Rewards statistics
Required permissions: at least one permission from the Rewards section under Engagement permissions: either the permission related to badges or the one related to certificates.
The Rewards tab is the only Statistics tab that does not depend on a statistics permission. This means that even a profile with access to all other statistics will not see this tab if it has no permission related to rewards.
See Assign permissions.
This tab shows how many times each badge and certificate has been awarded and lets you drill down to learner-level details.
Rewards are created and managed from the Engagement menu. To understand the terminology used in the different columns, see What does each indicator measure?.
Access the Rewards tab
Go to Statistics, then open the Rewards tab.
Two sub-tabs are available: Badge and Certificate. Each one displays a list with one row per reward.
Click a row to view the reward details learner by learner.
Understand the columns
Both sub-tabs display the same five sortable columns.
Users with access corresponds to the number of learners who have access to the badge or certificate, based on the filters currently applied. This value is therefore the same on every row, but may change when you modify the filters.
Learners completed counts distinct learners who earned the reward during the selected period. If a learner earns the same reward more than once, they are still counted only once.
First award date and Last award date show the first and most recent awards included in the selected period.
Use the search field to filter the list by reward name. The Export button generates an Excel file from the current table, including the visible columns and the active sort order.
Open reward details
For a badge, the table displays one row per learner. The following columns are available by default: User, Email, Award date, Success rate, Score and User ID.
If your account uses segmentation data configured in the advanced settings, additional columns containing this data are also available.
For a certificate, the table displays one row per learner who has access to the certificate, whether or not they have obtained it. The Status column shows either Obtained or Not obtained.
By default, the table includes the Award date, Expiration date, Score, Success rate and User ID columns. You can also use Columns to add the certificate name to each row.
Above the table, the All users filter lets you narrow down the results. Open the dropdown to display only Certified users or Non-certified users.
A period filter is also available and works in the same way as on the other Statistics screens.
💡 To quickly find a specific learner, use the search field. On this screen, the search checks both the learner’s name and email address.
The Download PDF action is available only for learners who have obtained the certificate. Only these rows can therefore be selected when downloading several certificates at once.
Once you have selected the relevant learners, click Download certificates. An archive containing the selected certificates is generated and downloaded once it is ready.
Click a row to open the selected learner’s detailed statistics. This view also lets you see all certificates they have obtained.
Configure period filters
⚠️ All data displayed depends on the selected Period, including learner status.
When you open the tab, the period uses the default period saved in Statistics. If no period has been configured, Last 90 days is applied automatically.
For example, a certificate obtained six months ago will not be counted under Learners completed, and its holder will appear as Not obtained in the detail view.
Before concluding that a reward has never been obtained, select All time.
Two other filters can also change the figures even when the rewards themselves have not changed:
- Groups: restricts the results to learners belonging to the selected groups;
- Include deactivated learners: disabled by default, this filter determines whether deactivated learners are included in Users with access and in the number of awards counted.
Good to know
When a reward is deactivated, it disappears from Statistics along with its history.
The awards themselves are not deleted. If you reactivate the reward, the same data appears again.
Certificates based on a learning path remain at zero.
This type of certificate can no longer be created, but some older accounts may still contain them. They appear in the Certificate list, but their awards are not counted in these statistics.
