Taking a training
Taking a training
🚧 Coming soon. This page is being prepared and its content may still change.
Your company chooses what it switches on: you will not necessarily see every space described here. For a full tour of the app, see Discovering the app.
Finding the trainings meant for you
What is distributed to you appears on your Home screen. That is your starting point, and you have nothing to look for there.
To find the rest, you have four ways in:
- search, when you already know what you want to open;
- Explore, which lists the categories and presents their content by tab (Capsules, Tracks, Tips, Training interests);
- Search by code, to scan or type a code shown on a machine, a product or a poster;
In content lists, the In progress, Achieved, Favorites and Mandatory filters take you straight back to what you are looking for.
Working through a capsule
A capsule is read card after card. You go at your own pace: your progress is saved, so you can close the app and pick up where you left off.
Its length depends on what its author put in it. Some capsules hold a few notions, others make up a complete training course.
A capsule often contains questions, which are there to check what you have retained. When you reach the end, a validation screen shows your result, then the app offers to let you rate the capsule.
Completing a capsule is not passing it
These are two different states, and many trainings require both.
- You have completed a capsule once you have gone all the way through, meaning 100% progress.
- You have passed it once your result reaches the Success percentage to validate capsule set by the person who created the capsule.
A capsule you went through to the end with too low a result is therefore completed, but not passed. When the capsule allows it, the Restart button lets you take it again to improve your result.
ℹ️ Good to know. A track follows the same rule, with its own conditions. You can pass a track without having passed all of its capsules, and complete it without having passed it. See What does each metric measure?.
A capsule you cannot start
Whoever publishes a capsule can attach a condition to it. You then come across one of two situations:
- the capsule appears, but no button lets you start it. The screen shows the condition still to be met instead;
- the capsule appears nowhere. It will be distributed to you once the condition is met.
The condition is often another capsule to complete or to pass, but it can also be a date, a code to scan, an identity check or paid access. See Capsule visibility and activation conditions.
💡 Tip: if content someone told you about stays impossible to find, check the selector at the top of the home screen first: the app remembers the last space you visited.
Finding content again later
Add the capsule to your Favorites. You then find it again in My favorite content, and the Favorites filter brings it back in any list. It is the quickest way to keep a procedure or a memo within reach in the field.
If you need to consult content with no network, download it before you leave. See Offline mode.
Points, badges and rankings
You earn points as you work through content, and badges when you meet certain conditions. You find them in My progress, along with your Certificates.
If your company has enabled Rankings, you can see where you stand compared to your colleagues. Battles let you challenge a colleague on a quiz.
Giving your opinion on a training
At the end of a capsule, the app asks “Did you enjoy the capsule?”, then offers Rate the capsule and a rating from one to five stars. Nothing obliges you to, and you can rate it again on each visit: it is your last rating that counts.
Many pieces of content also let you Comment or ask a question.
If the topic you need does not exist yet, flag it from Training requests.
